NO DOGS ALLOWED INSIDE, SORRY!!

Our little Rye Bread had his leg broken by a big dog when he was a pup. He gets scared when he sees another dog in his territory. Because of this, we ask that you keep your pet pup on the patio.

Of course, service dogs are always welcome, but please let us know before coming into the tasting room so we can put our pup where he won't see your dog.

Count Chocula worked as winery greeter when we first opened in 2012. In spring of 2019, he unexpectedly left us. We are convinced that he sent us a new friend.

We took our old wiener dog Shatzie to meet a different wiener dog. She hated him. But the shelter had this scared, little Chichuahua mix boy that went into the shelter on the day Count passed. And Shatzie liked him.

So we took him home to the winery.

It's eerie how our new boy Rye Bread has worked the winery from the minute he set foot in it. We’re convinced that Count sent him to carry on his job as greeter.

Then it was time for Shatzie to go over the rainbow bridge in spring of 2020.

She was such a Daddy's girl! And Daddy needed a pup.

We saw a scruffy little orange Dorky face at the All American Dachshund Rescue. And his name was Butter! The perfect companion for Rye Bread!!!

Then in January of 2021, Doug's good friend  Russell gave us a little Dachshund puppy Ruby!

Stop in to meet Rye Bread + Butter and Ruby! The boys and baby are usually working hard in the tasting room greeting customers.

Until we meet again Count & Shatzie.

You are forever in our hearts.
